Pilot Results
Pilot cohort: 1,200 beneficiaries over 60-day period. ATLAS-M produced governed readiness assessments for 100% of the cohort using available signal data. Mean confidence score: 0.77. Green tier (routine): 71%. Yellow tier (elevated review): 22%. Red tier (suppressed): 7%. The 7% suppressed outputs corresponded to beneficiaries with insufficient signal data — in every case, the suppression triggered a data-collection follow-up that improved subsequent assessment quality.
Environmental Signal Contribution
NASA ERI methodology contributed materially to 34% of assessments — cases where environmental exposure history changed the readiness score by more than 0.08 points. The most significant environmental signal: deployment-related air quality exposure history, which elevated readiness risk scores for 127 beneficiaries who had no corresponding clinical flags. These 127 cases were referred for environmental health consultation — a referral pathway that did not exist before ATLAS-M deployment.
Authority Chain Utilization
Of 1,200 assessments: 852 resolved at Tier 1 (routine). 264 escalated to Tier 2 (elevated concern — dual review). 84 escalated to Tier 3 (readiness determination — commanding officer notification). All escalations were completed within defined timeframes. Zero escalations were missed or delayed. The authority chain documentation was cited by the program director as the single most operationally valuable output of the ATLAS-M deployment.
